Top 100 on iTunes for Rockin' the Standards album "MATH"

Today our album "MATH" climbed into the top 100 on iTunes in the category of Children's Music. As of this writing we were at # 87. Thank you AMERICA! We believe that mixing real rock n' roll music with lyrics that teach 2nd through 6th graders is just plain COOL! In fact we put the COOL in SCHOOL! (Do you see it? You need to take the S and H out of SCHOOL to get COOL, that's what we do!) AMERICA, we need your help! We are a couple of teachers and musicians with what we believe is a revolutionary new educational rock n' roll style. Yet we have no $$$ for advertising yet. Please spread the word about us. Help the crazy teachers and musicians behind Rockin' the Standards climb to # 1 on iTunes! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Visit our website http://www.rockinthestandards.com

Rockin' the Standards "MATH" Tops Jonas Brothers "A Little Bit Longer" at Amazon.com!

Today was a historic day for our band Rockin' the Standards. We hit # 1 again on Amazon.com in the category of Children's Educational Music. However, the bigger news is that we topped the Jonas Brothers in the category of Children's Music overall. Thank you AMERICA! The concept of our band is simple. We've taken real rock n' roll music and combined it with lyrics that help 2nd through 6th graders remember difficult academic state standards. Our music isn't your normal "Barney sounding" educational music. Kids love it, parents want it, and teachers need it! Please visit our website and tell other parents and teachers about us.

This past week we shipped CDs to new fans in the following states:

Florida
New York
Texas
California
Pennsylvania
Washington
Oregon

If you don't have our album "MATH" yet, visit our website and order the CD or download it at iTunes, Amazon, PayPlay, or Digstation.

Rockin' the Standards retains # 1 spot for Children's Educational Music on Amazon.com

As of this writing Rockin' the Standards remains the # 1 MP3 download on Amazon.com in the category of Children's Educational Music. We are thrilled that America is catching our vision of having real rock n' roll music that also happens to help elementary students remember difficult math concepts. Half of the people involved in Rockin' the Standards are elementary school teachers. We use our own music in the classroom just about everyday. It is incredible to see the power of educational rock n' roll music in the classroom. We've seen third graders remember place value to the hundred billions and to the right of the decimal to the ten-thousandths by rockin' out to our # 1 hit song THE PLACE VALUE RAP. This is just one example of how our 14 math rock songs are making a difference in the lives of elementary students. If you're not using music in your classroom, you and your students are missing out big time!

This past week we shipped CD orders to lots of new fans in California. This was due to the fact that we were featured in the Press Enterprise earlier in the week. We also shipped CDs to new fans in the following states:

New York
Virginia
Florida

America, thanks again for making us # 1! Tell your family, friends, and even your enemies about Rockin' the Standards!

Rockin' the Standards still # 1 MP3 Download at Amazon.com; Featured on Teachers.Net

WOW! As of this writing we are still # 1 on Amazon.com in the category of Children's Educational Music. We are competing with the big boys. One of the bands near the top with us is They Might Be Giants. Little did I know that they are backed by Disney. Only in America could a couple of teachers and their musically talented friends reach # 1 in their music genre by working hard to spread the word about their unique educational rock n' roll. Help our campaign to compete with the Disney heavy hitters by e-mailing your friends and family our website, blog, and YouTube links.

This month our band is featured on Teachers.Net in their online magazine called the Gazette. We are in a special feature called Teachers.Net Recommends... Thank you to all you T-Net users who have supported RTS in the past. Help us compete with the Disney heavy hitters by letting your friends on T-Net know about us. Teachers.Net plans to do a Rockin' the Standards CD give away promotion in the near future. Keep an eye out for that!
O.K. America, help us pass up the Jonas Brothers, Camp Rock, and Miley Cyrus. We came close a few days ago.(Read the posting on Sept. 29th about how we reached #6 just behind Camp Rock and the Jonas Brothers) THANKS AMERICA!!!!!!!
